TRAFFIC AND PARKING

There are a variety of measures in place to ensure resident priority parking is given to those living on residential streets and to manage the safe flow of customers as they enter and exit the festival. Please check the tables and the maps provided for more specific information.

  • On event days (excluding Brockwell Bounce), the existing Lambeth and Southwark Resident Permit Schemes will be extended on roads around the park to include the full weekend and the bank holiday. Roads benefitting from the scheme are listed in the table and shown on the traffic map. This extension prioritises resident parking, discourages event traffic, and aids enforcement against unauthorised vehicles.

View the map here and an A-Z road list here.

  • A range of road closures will be in place on all show days, excluding Brockwell Bounce. These vary from full-day restrictions to closures timed around event finishing periods. Some roads will be fully closed to all traffic, while others will remain open to residents only. Roads will be staffed by specialist road marshals and to help ensure smooth access, we ask residents to display their yellow resident information leaflet clearly in the front of their vehicle.

Roads benefitting from the scheme are listed in the table here and here, and shown on the traffic map here.

  • Marshalling teams will be on hand to allow access to delivery drivers, care givers and emergency vehicles.

  • These will be unaffected by the extension of the permit scheme, and fall subject to their usual terms from an enforcement perspective.

  • We are aware that attendees to local places of worship will use roads located nearby during times of their regular services. If you are concerned about being able to park during these times please contact the administrator of your place of worship and they will provide you with details relevant to you.
