LOCAL BUSINESSES

DELIVERIES

Local businesses will be supported through the no waiting periods with deliveries and collections being facilitated if appropriate, therefore these restrictions will not be enforced until 1100 (from 1000 on City Splash).

LOCAL BUSINESS RESTRICTIONS

Lambeth Council has confirmed that their team will be directly responsible for requesting businesses along Herne Hill to remove any outdoor furniture during the event period. Lambeth has advised that all outdoor furniture should be cleared by 20:00 on each show day.

  • This measure is part of the egress crowd management plan, designed to:

  • Ensure safe and unimpeded access to Herne Hill Station during peak exit times.

  • Prevent any potential damage to furniture caused by increased footfall.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping to keep the area safe and accessible for everyone. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please reach out to Lambeth’s events team directly or get in touch with us for support.

TRAFFIC

A more expansive scheme of road closures will be enforced to reduce illegal parking on residential streets on event dates. An additional 24 roads will receive closures and marshalling on Monday 26th May.

This will not prevent local businesses gaining foot and vehicle access to their shops. An extension of permit schemes will prioritise local parking across all event days.
