A series of free get-togethers in the park, for everyone in the neighbourhood.

Running alongside our programme of festivals in Brockwell Park, Brockwell Together is a carefully curated series of free events for the local community. From family days and creative workshops there will be something for every age and every interest; all free, all for the neighbourhood.

Three FREE days of creativity, culture and play for all ages at Brockwell Hall.

Last year's Kids Together programme brought workshops, performances and activities to Brockwell Hall, welcoming children, families and young people from across South London. Last year's programme featured a wide range of free activities, including the highlights below.

Theatre, Dance & Storytelling

Stomp, wiggle, spin and tell tales, this one's for the dreamers, dancers and anyone who's ever wanted to join a ceilidh. Expect silliness, movement and stories to remember.

From the Circus
to the Rave

A day full of spectacle, silliness and surprise as Brockwell Hall turns into the circus! Learn clowning, juggling + more and continue the party with Ruckus Rave.

Comic Books &
Urban Sports

A full day of comic books, creativity and characters, plus skate lessons and street football in the courtyard.

MUSIC TOGETHER

The Music Generator in partnership

with REPREZENT + JOM

Make some noise! A free day of music + performance -  for ages 14 and up.

Music Together welcomed aspiring artists, DJs, presenters, producers and performers for a full day of workshops and talks, followed by live performances.

Participants learned the fundamentals of DJing and radio broadcasting, heard directly from industry professionals about building careers in music, funding creative ideas and organising events, before taking to the stage alongside emerging South London artists during an afternoon showcase.

Local talent was celebrated, while giving young creatives practical skills, inspiration and opportunities to connect with others working across the music industry.

The day then ended with a five-hour showcase featuring some of South London's finest breaking bands and artists.

Brixton's iconic cinema is coming to Brockwell Park.
Catch a classic film under the Big Top… popcorn optional.

We turned the Brockwell Live Big Top into a cinematic sensation! Families enjoyed a free screening of Wallace & Gromit, before the evening continued with a screening of the classic, Grease. Complete with popcorn, drinks and Picturehouse’s 24ft screen, the event brought people together for a memorable night of film in the park.

Lace up and get outside! Free community runs for all abilities, each one in partnership with a festival.

RUN TOGETHER

Run Together brought running communities into Brockwell Park through two free 5k runs celebrating movement, music and community.

In partnership with Ravers2Runners and Field Day, runners kicked off the festival season with a sociable 5k, while gayns partnered with Mighty Hoopla to host a queer run club, with pace groups for every speed and maximum camp energy.
