RESIDENT INFORMATION

Sound of all types, including sub-bass, registers on monitoring equipment. Lambeth have established specific maximum sound levels for all event organisers in the borough, including Brockwell Live. The maximum sound levels and sound level monitoring locations for the main open spaces in the London Borough of Lambeth including Brockwell Park, as follows:  

- The maximum Music Noise Level (MNL) shall be 75dB L(A)eq, 15 minutes (free field) outside any noise sensitive premises.  

- The maximum low frequency Music Noise Level (LFMNL) shall be 90 dB L(C)eq, 15 minutes (free field) outside any noise sensitive premises.  

Levels are constantly monitored by a reputable sound consultant (appointed by the Council and independent of the festival organiser).

Brockwell Live is subject to a premises licence issued under the Licensing Act 2003, which includes conditions that relate to the management and reporting of noise.
